About the Rescue
The Moggy Nip Factory & Rescue is a licensed, non-profit 501(c)(3), cat rescue in Omaha, NE. We are a small, home-based rescue dedicated to improving the lives of cats and kittens.
*Please note, because we are a small, home based rescue, we do not take owner surrenders (unless they were originally adopted from The Moggy Nip Factory & Rescue), or provide Trap-Neuter-Return services, but we can direct you to some amazing groups that may be able to assist you!
our mission
To enhance the well-being of stray and abandoned cats and kittens, and foster a respectful and supportive relationship with adopters.
We believe that after adoption, if mutually established, the relationship between rescue and adopter does not end. It is important that adopters know our rescue will always serve as a source of support and guidance.
how it all began
Little did we know at the time, but the adoption of a tiny black and white kitten named Chloe would lead us down the most unexpected, but rewarding path of our lives. This little ball of fur ended up not being just a loving companion and source of comfort, but the impetus that forever altered our view of animal rescue and welfare. Chloe brought us so much joy and laughter. Our love for her and desire to protect her and make her life as fulfilling as possible were unlike any other feeling we've had before.
We yearned to help other animals, especially kitties who were abandoned, strays, or just merely struggling to survive in this crazy world. We didn't just want to make a difference, we HAD to make a difference. We had to act on our urge to help as many cats and kittens that we feasibly could, hence the creation of The Moggy Nip Factory & Rescue.
And it's all because of our dear, sweet Chloe We can't wait to see you Chloe at the Rainbow Bridge and tell you about everything you inspired and all the cats and kittens you helped save! We love you Chlo-Chlo.
